I ran in the 16's. Clutch slipping in every gear and running on 3 cylinders one race  I guess that's what happens when you race a 2054cc with a 50 year old stock gearbox. Will upload my videso soon. My time slips say
i won 2 out of 4 races, considering i wasn't in the lane with the other VW's. I was stuck in the lane with the V6's and turbos.

what a day out I did 7 runs and got 3 into the 12's and did my PB with a 12.810sec, R/T .271 60ft 1.792 at 108MPH. They set a record today at the
track with having over 1000 runs in one day

Got some good launches and improved mph. ET only 12.2 due to some poor shifts etc etc. lots of wheelie and confirmed I'm tripping 60ft with back
wheels. stuffed one launch and got best 60 of the day, 1.7 as the wheels were down. 1.8 on back wheels

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the kind words. We all had a great time yesterday, lots of laughs and fun had in our pit area. Got a total of eight runs yesterday and the
weather was fantastic (sorry Craig, you were 7 days too early with the weather).
Yes I’m very happy with the cars setup so far, I can now drive the car off the line without fear of trashing a gearbox. Which I was always worried
about in the past as I had to get the car home at the end of the day. A big thanks to Dave Butler (Dangerous) for the bus gearbox assembly and
advice.
The car ran it’s PB yesterday of 12.425 @ 111.28. The most technical thing we did all day was bolt on my taller street tyres after a few runs. Again
the car is still undynoed and mixtures are still fat and safe.
I put the car over the weight bridge at WSID and it comes in at 958kg with me included, which is why I’m struggling with 60ft’s on street tyres.
The best 60fter I could manage was a high 1.8 second.
Very happy with the current setup considering it is no feather weight and it’s primarily a street car, that’s occasionally raced & driven
everywhere.
Big thanks to Boris & Wayne F for coming out to give support on the day and to everyone else who raced. Thanks for the great day.

Hi all,
they are some great times and you should all be very happy with them, I think. I would loved to have been there, but had a relative from Qld down and
had to catch up. I had told her 2 months ago not the weekend of the 29th June, so we made it a week later and you know the rest Bugger.
