I had a good chat to Dave yesterday. He is at home and working through a steady recovery.
He told me that for his 'walks' his goal is to go one extra power pole per day!
Also that the doctor was surprised to see him walk into his office and reminded Dave that he has major surgery!!
Dave said the hospital team in The ICU were fantastic. However it was a very different story in the ward. If you want to hear a great story ask Dave
about the 'feedback' he provided to one nurse who was undertaking a delicate procedure and who didnt provide a suitable level of 'care'. The story
is classic 'Dave' (ie way too colorful for the forum!!)
Dave was pleased to receive so many well wishes and I'm sure we all hope to see/hear His Grumpiness back at the track soon.
