Newby to the AVD and the Air cooled world
Hi all,
Finally got our family project home to start, being eager to start I thought I'd get you guys to confirm some questions for me. I found on The Samba
how to translate the chassis and engine number I've come to the conclusion that its a type 1 built in Australia in 1966 and it has a 1500 motor is
this correct.

Hi check your chassis No under the rear seat,as you can see the plate is held on with 2 pop rivets and there are a as many colours as Jacob's coat in
the front wheel well.
