[FS - VIC] Restored '73 SuperBeetle
I cant afford to keep 2 cars so regretfully my lovely '73 Super Beetle is up for sale.
It has been lovingly restored. Rubbed back to bare metal, any rust cut out & new steel welded in, new floor pans both sides, panels smoothed out
with hammer & dolly with only spray putty, bog wasn't needed or wanted! Painted in stunning metallic "Rally Blue Mica" 2 pack. This took many
months & was painstakingly meticulous in detail! The wheels were painted to match & the hubcaps detailed.
It has new rubber seals everywhere, new HD running boards, new zinc plated bolts, bumpers straightened & polished, new chrome eyelids & chrome
stone guards, new custom door cards front & rear to match the paint, custom hoodliner, special sunroof flown in from the States to fit the
Beetle's curved roof, new carpet, new rubber mat in boot, electric windscreen washer, new retractable seat belts, Prelude front seats in excellent
condition (original Beetle seats will also be included), original rear seat in excellent condition. Quartz Halogen H4 headlights replacing the dismal
original sealed beams (also provided) were installed along with driving lights.
It was fully soundproofed with DynaMat on the floor, roof, side panels, doors, front & rear firewalls. This helps heaps to keep out the noise,
also keeps the car much cooler in summer.
The 12V 1600cc engine has excellent compression, no need to do anything. It has a new carbie, also flown in from the States & new leads,
distributor cap & rotor. It has recently been serviced & tuned. A new gearbox linkage bush for easy gear changes & the clutch is nice
& smooth.
A custom alarm with remote control keyless entry, central locking & immobiliser was installed to protect my baby (includes spare remote).
She was given an awesome stereo: Phillips CED750 pop-up DVD/CD player head unit with a 7" LCD screen & SD card, USB & AV inputs & custom
installation plus custom front & rear speakers.
Its been garaged since the restoration & is in sparkling condition.
It comes with rego till July 2014 & a RWC will be supplied.
The lucky buyer will have a classic Beetle lovingly restored with nothing needed to do except get in, drive away & enjoy
Advertised price elswhere is $13000 but to AussieVeeDubbers $12000. Reasonable offers will be considered.

This is a great little Bug lovingly restored back to bare metal with ZERO rust anywhere, new floor pans both sides, front & rear; new interior;
alarm; keyless entry; pop-up dvd/cd player & more. Im selling it with rego till July 2014 & RWC (Vic), I'm sure it will easily pass any RWC
in any state
