IDF mods. Weber gods please help!


I'm a dellorto guy.... So sorry for the dumbarse weber question...

Fitting some 36idf webers to a mates car... Done all the usual stuff to make them work, but one thing that I have not been able to confirm, is what to do with these little ports on the sides of the carbs....

What it looks like when pulled is this....

I believe these to be vacuum ports for the ignition...

So the simple question is.... Do I pull them out and find a suitable plug to replace them?

Leave them shut Simon, they are for a vac gauge for tuning purposes
