T owner from Brisbane, new here
Hi Guys!
Since a while I was checking out this great forum and did read here every now and than some post- it's a great website.
I am originally from Germany and my first car was a Golf II.
After that I owned a VW campervan Westfalia.
Since here in Australia, I was blown away by the the amount of split screens and T2 I have seen here, being still on the road.. wow.
I own a 9 seater T2, build in 1977 and someone told me they are pretty rare... it's in good condition for a restauration.
I also have a T4 with a german flip top- which gives me recently some trouble... which I am still investigating whats wrong with... it was pulled
apart from inside when I got it- (Trakka) so another project i guess
I love the T4 specially as Campervans- they are SO much better than the everday Hiaces- but not many people here in QLD do think the same...
Cheers Strahli

I am from a part around 45 minutes from the durch boarder.
Called Bochum - thats where the big Opel factories are (or have been).
