Wheel-centre emblems......Sorted

Need 4 emblems for the centre caps of my BRM style wheels [going on the '56 cabriolet]. They are 44mm dia., and ideally need to be VW logo.

Any ideas?

One way is to print the emblems you want on photographic quality paper, place on the caps and apply 2-pack resin over them; the 'craft' people do this all the time to make trays etc. and, when done properly, the results are v. professional. Enquire at yr. local craft shop.

You can get them easy enough on Ebay but 45mm is a bit of a dicky size,
the same size as what I needed for my center caps.

I've got a brand new set here I bought that are 40mm which is just a touch too small.

I ended up getting some 55mm ones like these:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-NEW-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-PASSAT-RABBIT-WHEEL-CENTE...

They are aluminium without the clear resin face and trimmed the outer black ring off which brings them down to 45mm.

Been on for about a year now and holding up well.

Wow, that was quick! Thanks Joel.

They look even better than I was hoping for......I'll grab a set.

I do the same thing as Joel.

They come with a sticky back - I just peel off the existing sticker if there is one (in my case, 'Performance'), peel the backing paper off the VW sticker, and stick it on.

A wolfsburg crest might suit the car better

I been looking for 45mm ROH center cap decals for 2 years! I know where they are some but would require a ex worker stealing them from her father who worked at the factory that manufactured those badges.

I think I'll give up now lol
