1300 Beetle engine + 12volt SOLEX 30 PICT Carby
I have found out via the kombi club that this engine is from a 1959 beetle...nd its a 1200A engine:
There's a few letters etc i could see:
ZUND (D could be an 'O') FOLGE
engine number: 1-0933599
Could also see the letter A and the number 30 engraved in the Generator support 'arm' (which i can confirm is part of the engine casing).
guys on the kombi club are saying its from a 1959 model, and that it might be suitable for someone doing an early splitty 59 or pre 59, or
corresponding beetle models.
Has been used to run a lathe for the last couple of years so is in good working condition, ready to bolt on.
Needs a carby.
Genuine 6 volt.
Stainless steel exhaust.
