VERY EARLY KOMBI ON ABC TV SHOW TONIGHT
Watched a New TV Show on ABC on Sunday night..
called Sarangoon Road... in Singapore in 1956..
Main character drove a very early Kombi two tone with windows and very very shiny.. The Big VW emblem was chromed as was the safari front windows
[or stainless steel]..
They didn't show any inside shots... only arriving in it..
[and letting the clutch out before the engine had stopped.. lol ]
Show will be back on next sunday night..

it shows from 4 minutes in, very nice looking pg/sg & the show is pretty good too, just get a glimpse of a buggy as the main actor runs to the
split.
there is glimpses of the split throughout the show as its the main vehicle in this show.

thanks for that.. thought last night was the first..
as it was advertised all week,, lol..
Kombi didn't look right... an early fifties kombi that looked like it came from a show & shine.. lol
plus cars weren't that shiny back then...
