HELP! - Place needed for Myrtle - SAVE MYRTLE CLUB
Hi Guys,
I'm in need of HELP ASAP.
I'm going through a messy break up and my ex now wants Myrtle out of our shed this weekend. I need a space for her somewhere in Sydney.
At the moment Myrtle is a long way from completion. She's been spray puty'd but needs rubbing back, the rear axle and gear box putting in, wiring
loom putting back in and connecting back up - engine in…..shell back on the pan ….guards reattaching etc etc etc.
Now i have a couple of options.
Either rattle can her so she's sealed and forget the bums and lumps and hope i can get help reassembling her for rego…….
or
take my time and try to do it properly as originally intended
or
offer her to the highest bidder / willing party.
I don't want to see her go to ruin, she's been my project for just over 3 years and i'm chomping at the bit to get her back on the road.
To complicate matters more I'm working one handed due to a long term shoulder injury.
So basically what i'm after is:
A space where i can work on Myrtle and some help from you guys to put her back together.
ANY help you can give, a fellow Dubber, at all would be soooo gratefully received.
Myrtles progress to date:
New front end
All rust cut out and welded
New heater channels
wire wheeled to an inch of her life - aka back to metal rest
new floor pans
new brake lines
etc etc (doesn't sound much for 3 years)
Thanks
Kaz and Myrtle

Kaz,
First thing is to secure a place for her then i am sure a lot of us can spare some time to get myrtle going again.

I have seen myrtle and would be such a shame to lose this bug, hope someone can offer a shed until she is finished
