Obviously a cut and buff will help show up the surface irregularities better, so here it is before that happens :) hopefully one day there will be pics of it actually on the engine or... [gasp] in the back of the car.

surprisingly there are more bits, but photos in fluoro light don't show up the candy so well :(

They're only from 1971 dude :P

If/when they peel and chip I'll take them off and get them powdercoated, but I'm hoping they'll last at least for the break in so I can drive it to work and have a 'completed' vehicle. The guys there have been on my back for three years asking me when it's going to be finished, and if things keep going the way they are it WILL be in a museum. Probably Whiteman Park. :lol:
