EOI in setting up a new Vw club in the Hawkesbury
Hi Guys and Girls
I have been chatting with some VW lovers around the Hawkesbury area lately.
I have decided that we need to set up a chapter of an existing club or start a new club of our own. I have even looked into setting up a non profit
organisation.
What Im looking for is a show of hands of who would be interested.
You must be willing to Drive your Vws ,
Catch up for a BBQ & Beer or wine or a Morning coffee.
Raise money for charities of our choice , Local if we can !
You must be willing to get your hands dirty ,
I allready have about 10 people interested so far and thats only in 2 days.
There are few businesses in the area willing to sponsor the club as long as we do a run to their business and park our cars for a photo or two,
Let me know what your thoughts are.
If I am treading on any toes by doing this let me know also.
If you are a Vw Club president and are interested in having a Hawkesbury Chapter give me a call
Cheers

Shane,
Kudos to you for the thought and post as any VW get together is always magic.
An idea to maybe avoid some stress is to post here on AVD, KombiClub & DSK (if you're not a member on the latter 2 then join up the latter 2
won't bite). The KombiClub has a lot of members around the Hawkesbury, central coast area and they're always willing for a get together and they are
NOT prejudice against whether you have have a Type 1, or Type 2 or Type 3 or Beetle or Karman Ghia, Razor - even water cooled golf, polo, Tourag,
Jetta etc are accepted to the events.
Just something to think about.
Let me out, When I call my name
IGOR is ALIVE !!!!
