New 2276cc engine
I have just finished another engine that will fit any beetle , type 3 or early kombi . This engine will produce in excess of 180 HP and would be more
suitable to a beetle or buggy . This engine is 100 % brand new and it has the following components ;
Magnesium engine case
82 mm Chevy jnl crank
5.4 H beam rods with ARP bolts
Engle FK 8 camshaft
Engle lifters
Scat cam gear
Scat 1.4 pro rockers
CNC 044 heads with 42 x 37.5 valves
Lightened flywheel
94 mm piston kit
CB 30mm billet oil pump
Cro-moly pushrods
Cro-moly head studs
Stainless pushrod tubes
Stainless valve covers
This engine has a compression ratio of 9.16 and is located in Wollongong NSW . This complete engine is priced @ $ 5930 . I can also add a new set of
44 mm IDF carbs , New tinware , New A-1 sidewinder header , new kennedy clutch , dyno tune and supply a report for around $ 9500 , ROD , 02-42729920 .
