If there's a run on in the new year - south of Sydney, I will bring the Cab. along. It hasn't been on the road for over 30 years, so there's some
catching up to do.
I've given it a 'buzz' down the freeway, and it is quite happy at 110....and a bit more, if need be.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Yes I remember - but also remember when they pulled Fxxknuckle aside and took him away to interrogate him- only problem we had with that- they let him
go.Wade and I still piss ourselves with some of the stuff you got up to.Was it you or Barry that scored 356 brakes?

Lovely looking cab. Did you have to cut much to get the 356 in?

Only cut the engine tin-ware, and match it up with the 36hp tin-ware, to fit the opening in the body. Had to do a bit of 'bashing' though [luckily Iwas a panelbeater in a previous life], and re-shape the rocker covers - so the valve clearances can be done, without removing the engine. It's a
tight fit.

I will be 75 in 2016, and have thought of 'giving away' racing at 75......then again...
