40Hp Stale Air Fan Housing
40 Hp Fan Housing. Stale Air = No heater tubes
I've had it since 1983 and can't quite remember what it came off, but it is the only one I have like it…
Some have suggested it's off a country buggy?
$50 fair condition

Looks like it is off a stationery engine like a compressor or generator, especially going by the funny colour and the extra bracket.

I'm led to believe the funny bracket is the the mount for the air cleaner, as it is side mounted. I remember the bloke I bought it of was a keen
follower of SA aussie rules team Glenelg (AFL equivalent Richmond) so every thing he owned was black and yellow. You can see the black under the
yellow paint that has peeled off.

It looks the same as my ghia, could also be from a kombi. The bracket is for the air cleaner.

I am with you it is later than 40hp as it has the bulges at the side but no fresh air heating tubes, kombi's had heaters and yes the air filter
bracket is under the coil.

My ghia is a very original oct '62 build ('63 model) with one of the last stale-air 40HP engines. It has the same bulges on the side.
