WTB: Porsche 912 12V generator

Must be in good working condition. I am after the smaller diameter one to suit a 36HP motor.

PM me if you have one you can part with.

I am located in Melbourne.

Late 356, and early 912 Porsches had SMALL diameter, 12v generators. Make sure it is the SMALL diameter one, as the later 912 were BIG diameter.

Industrial motors are a good source for these, the two I sold a while back came from air compressors. I have a third but I had to get the armature out with a press and was rusted beyond reasonable repair.

I think the industrial 12v generators are fairly low output - not much good for high wattage lights, etc.
