pics of radiator into front of Karmann Ghia ?
Hi,
considering doing the subie transplant on the karmann ghia. does anyone have any photos or links to a ghia subie build thread that details radiators
in the front ?

Here are a few pics of a radiator in a Ghia. Can't remember which site I found them but no build thread from memory.
Not sure how well the setup works in the yellow Ghia - radiator is very upright and not much space behind it with the cover on, even though it looks
very neat.
I'll be using a similar setup but leaning the radiator back with air intakes through the standard front vents and enlarging the the horn hole a
little (if needed).

thats exactly the approach I was interested in. I'm wondering if that will give sufficient cooling, well... I'm hoping actually.

I'm sure it will - as long as the perimeter of the radiator is sealed forcing all incoming air through the radiator. Combined with the added volume
and running pipes underneath I doubt cooling would be a problem.
