[FS - QLD] 1968 Beetle for sale

Hi there, just thought that someone on this forum would be interested to know that we have an original 1968 VW for sale in Brisbane.

It is in excellent condition and we have it up for $8,500 on carpoint (even though we have had two VW specialists say it is easily worth $12,000 - we need to sell it)

A lady who owned and loved the car for over 25 years had it completely rebuilt in 2006: motor, gearbox, suspension, stearing, twopack paintwork, brakes, interior. Only 60,000km since rebuild. We have used it for weekend drives and as a third car for the last 8 years, but it could definitely be used as a daily drive. We love driving it, but wanted to keep it in its current condtion.

It features popout rear windows, German metric tacho, twopack painted original VW wheels
to match, recent service with new wheel cylinders, brake pads and shoes. Spare parts included as per the photo.

    Includes personalised registration: AVW 68

My other half is German and has driven aircooled VWs all his life. He is very particular about doing regular services and oil changes, using only Penrite oils. We still have an aircooled Kombi, but that's not for sale. We are having a hard enough time parting with this one, but we are paying too many regos!!
