Hi guys this is my 72 beetle I have been building for a while now .
I'm the second owner and loving it being my first aircooled vw I have limited contacts for parts and motor rebuilds any help would be great
Atm she is a 1776 twin port but the motor is getting lazy and leaky
So I rang rod and he's building a 1916cc signature motor with cnc heads , scat c95 cam , ect ect hopefully it make 130hp and I don't destroy the gearbox to quickly

G'day salty. where are located would help with referring businesses in your locale. you will get plenty of advice & help on here. Its like your own personal NRMA RACQ RACV all in 1 plus there's a basic form of road side assistance. if you get stuck somewhere someone will help you out as best as they can.

Saw your car at Day of the Volksy at TTP.
It nicely done!

There is a monthly meet on Pultney St called ParkPlatz - haven't quite got there myself yet, almost have the old girl back on the road, so not sure on turn out etc.

User T-34 on here (or https://vdubber.com/events/viewevent/183-parkplatz ) has details on it.

I'm a complete and utter newbie going through a steep learning curve :)

Mine still running the original 1500 but it is getting a bit tired - funds pending I'll prob rebuild it when the time comes rather than put something with more grunt in.

OMG, that is probably why there is a bearing noise. Couldn't top the oil up even if you wanted too :lol::lol::lol:
