Is it 100% functioning, no popping out of gears and syncro into 2nd still half ok?

What is the number on it?
He needs the one with 0.89 4th with a 3.875 r/p not the late 1300 one that went back to the early 1300 gearing

Yep the 1500's are 4.125, but if it's a real late 74 swinger didnt they have the 3.88 or did they all go back to 4.3 diff with the twin heat riser 1300 twinports??

The dudes name is Grumble Dan.. :)

It's no good for the 1916cc as if it's the late box with the early gear ratios so will rev its ring out on the highway..

It will raise the revs by around 5-6%.........so if you were cruising at 3000rpm with a 4.125, it would increase to 3150rpm with the 4.375. The 4.375 will give better acceleration for around town. :tu:

Hi Dubbin no message received,Pete I drove the car for a total of approx 500 metres and it functioned ok,didn't jump out of any gears and I didn't hear any clashing of gears. I don't know the box No as I am not home at the moment. The box is for sale as is.
