Where is the best place to source standard wheels for a 1973 Type 3 Squareback.....I bought mine with mags, I would rather stock !!!....???
Any info would be appreciated!

I have a few sets of std wheels in Taree,they will need a sandblast and repaint.PM if interested
As for your gearbox jumping out of reverse it could be a worn bus,adjustment of the lever or wer inside the box,it is very hard to diagnose without
seeing the unit and trying the easy options first.

How do dudes convert rear drum bakes to disc on >70 and above type 3's. are there units out there or are we fabricating to fit?

few kits out there for rear disk for type 3.
ISP billet hubs and 914 brakes.
VWCOOL type 3 specific skyline brake kit.
subarugears has a rear kit ready or near ready for sale?
