Rubber mats in Buggies and Baja's
What are the clever guys on here using for floor mats in their buggies and bajas? Was thinking of putting some rubber/foam mats down to help with
comfort noise and a bit of insulation but am a bit worried about the rubber sweating and causing rust on the floor.. not that dubs have an issue with
rusty floors! And ideas?
It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

I used a good quality marine carpet and cut out 4 mats to size. I use sticky velcro dots on the back of the mat and floor to keep in place but easy to
remove
to wash out and it dries quickly. Works for me

In the wench I purchased some carpet remnants from a carpet shop, cheap as, just cut it to fit ( made some cardboard templates) put normal underlay
under it and just loose laid it, it stays in place just fine. In the back of the Caddy I bought some rubber matting from Clark Rubber, bit more
expensive but is damned fine quality, again, I cut it to fit real neat and it stays in place just fine ( fits better than the factory mats)
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

Anti fatigue mats like you would in a workshop. Foam rubber with holes in it, you still need to take them out when you get dirty mo matter what you
put in there.
Otherwise trufit carpets say they can makes a one piece vinyl or rubber mat for your whole floor if you send them a template

Cool thanks for that guys. Just trying to get a bit organized I do like the look of rubber mats, Supercheap sells rolls of the stuff will just have to
get some underlay as well.
It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

Rubber door mats from bunnings, get 4 and cut them to shape. We've used them in buggies and Bajas.
