Raleigh Park, Valla Spectacular.
Had to return yesterday, so I am missing the rest of the fun. The 2 days racing at Raleigh was worth the trip, though.
There was every style of driving you could wish to see, on that twisty little track. At times I thought 'Sat-Nav' would be handy, and the
locked-diff made old No. 8 exciting to drive, on those really tight corners.
The stand-out for me was watching the superb display of driving by Heath Campbell.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

Thank you, Daimo....and thanks also for the helpful tips on 'best lines' etc.
Even though there wasn't one run that I was happy with [is it possible to do 3 perfect laps? ] it was a great couple of days.
Except for one incident, when Stan Pobjoy appeared on the track.....in front of Craig Hughes, the meeting was excellent.
Cheers, Greg
