Chassis Number

20 years ago I registered a home made convertable bug. My guess was that it was a chopped up 1962.

When I registered it, it didnt have a chassis number at the back of the tunnel.

From memorary, it had a number on the front torsion tube.

Has any one seen this before.

Cheers

Newt

fn - licensing gave me a number to stamp in - so it is no longer blank....

There is a # on early beams on the bump stop mount, altho I'm pretty sure it's to the chassis #
