My 67 fasty

Hello everyone,
Starting my build thread on here recantly bought my 67 fast back in a pretty bad shape when i picked her up she had been on fire so me and my dad are trying to get it back to a reasonable state with a few differentces :) here are some photos of when I first bought it.

this is it in the guys shed when i first looked at it

yes that is a fuel can in the back on the left this is how the previous owner set the car on fire, took it for a drive using that can as a fuel supply :/

Once i got her home first thing we did was lift it up off the floor as it was way too low, when we got to the back suspension the rear spring plates had no tension in them at all we could move the plates with our hands.

While we had all the guards off we thought we would treat all the rust underneath the rear quarters

after we treated them put some ech primer on still to cut and do the serious rust repairs on the bottoms

As for the front they were pretty good apart from a few little patches that again I will cut and replace at a later date

In the front boot it was in very good nic

The engine bay got a full repaint and rust treatment, it was the worst took 2 weeks to get all the burnt stuff clean and sanded but we got there in the end.

End product
