[WTB - QLD] Beetle early mid 1960's

Hello.

Looking to purchase Beetle- I have been stalking here/ebay/gumtree/carsales.

I am based here in Brisbane and looking for Beetle that is fairly original and plan to keep it that way.

Budget around $8k.

Does anyone know this car located in Northern NSW country town?

Looked at my first car yesterday here in Brisbane. Holy mother of bug! Car was listed on Gumtree for good money.....but rust in the heater channels and has had front and rear repairs at some stage and 4 tyres flat and wanting over $6k for it. I politely walked away::td:
the search for local projects looks sad.

Are you interested in a 65 notch?
We've been thinking about selling it lately but haven't gotten around to listing it.

Theres a dude around the corner from me that has a blue 58. No rust and a 1600tp. I think he's chasing too much money and he is only entertaining the Idea at the moment, but I could forward your details onto him if you like? (he isnt a member on here).

Update: My daily driver (a french car that shall remain nameless) which i bought brand new has to go as I have had continual breakdowns. Went and test drove a 2014 Beetle amd was very impressed. So for the moment I am dealing with purchasing a new beetle and will look to have a matching:dork: vintage car in Jan 2015.
