Although I love my V8's, I still don't understand why anyone would want to go to so much trouble converting a bug to have a V8.
Considering there are better conversion options available that don't require the amount of fabrication required in this modern era
Quite frankly the performance expectations would not be any better (if at best) than with a properly build vw motor or subi or rotary conversion.........let alone braking and handling aspect...

Some would say why bother building up a beetle in the first place, bare metal and big wheels etc, let alone an engine transplant.

As they say, each to their own.... is all for the love of what we do and aspire to do...

There was a V8 on SBO the other day and it is one sweet ride.

HP wise there are better choices but for hot hod reasons and because "a man and a gas axe can" reasons, this is cool
