Skoda Owners - $95 to attend a focus group

For those that own Skodas bought new within the last four years, here's a chance to make $95 to attend a focus group and share your thoughts about your experiences. Again, not much notice, but Oh well.

A copy of the e-mail is below:

"Dear Norman,

As discussed, we are conducting studies with Skoda owners to gain feedback about their preferences and experiences owning a Skoda.

We are holding 2 groups in Ultimo on Thursday 30th October both at 6pm as follows:

Group 1- 25-40 year old males and females
Group 2 - 50-54 year old males and females

Sessions are 1 hour duration and participants receive $95 cash for attending.
We are interested in owners of Octavia, yeti, Fabia, Super
Have bought their Skoda within the last 4 years

This will be a relaxed session with only 8 or so participants attending.

If any members are interested please ask them to respond to this email or text or phone me on 0408 578 089.

This is a great opportunity for Skoda Lovers to give their opinion.

Full venue details will be given after I have spoken to potential participants.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards
Nina Barillaro

The email for interested parties is recruit@hollistic.com.au

We've got a TDi 4x4 Skoda Yeti 2011. No problems so far nearly 50,000 kms , great car. Better than a couple of german cars - for the money - that we test drove at the time.
Oh yes, there is one born every minute alright!

No it's just that I had that photo laying around waiting for an opportunity to use it.

(Nothing wrong with Skodas)

No problem to me. As far as I'm concerned, when Volkswagen moved the engine to the front and cooled them with a H2O medium, that's where I stop with VW. No substitute for the REAL thing!

Great pic Phill. I'd rather have a Skoda than a SEAT - remember them?!

Hey Norm, ask Christine to take you for a drive in her new Golf 7 and you'll be converted. Happiness is having old AND new VWs in your garage. They're ALL the real thing.

What about a post-'84 T3 Kombi that has a water-cooled flat four in the rear?

What about a VW Brasilia - that has a flat-four air-cooled engine in the front, driving the front wheels?

Is that what they're called? The script on the badge is not very clear and I couldn't tell whether it was an "L" or an "F".

My mistake - I actually meant the first generation VW Gol, not the Brasilia (which was rear-engined)

They are examples of other VW models that may be air-cooled but front-engined - or water-cooled but rear-engined. You said your VW world ended when VW went front-engined and watercooled. Maybe, but there are shades of grey in between.

Keep the engine in the back to get traction on muddy camping grounds.
