Many thanks to those who posted and also sent messages, my situation is a bit different as I have a bus with a complete type 3 engine so that created problems in would the muffler fit etc. Fortunately at Day of The VW i Was able to talk to the guys from Sydney and measure up an exhaust. I then purchased this exhaust at a very reasonable price.
Fitting was simple took me longer to get old exhaust of than to put new one on, fitted together nicely. Great product would recomend to anyone. Thanks again to all.http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz334/tingod/IMG_1653_zps1d4e12e9.jpg
