They did an okay job on the Beetle, nice idea putting early guards on a later model, turned out okay although I wasn't 
fussed on the stickers?!

They said at the start of the show they were gong to lower it.  They must have realised it's not as easy as just replacing a coil spring or two     
 
They didn't show some of the welding / rust repairs as I thought they would, but you can only fit so much into one show. 
 
I'm sure the owner is as happy as a hooker the night the navy arrive in town

Kev you weren't paying attention she had a beam up front, if the pommy Beetles are the same as ours she must have been a 68 to 70 model with those
tail lights. There's a question are pommy Beetles the same as Aussie ones re-tail lights and beam to strut front ends?
