1600 twin port to a 2ltr box?

I've got a 2ltr 6 rib box that I would like to put into my lowlight behind my 1600 twin port motor, my question is do I have to change the input shaft, or is it a case of shortening it? Also i know that the bell housing won't mate up to the 1600, so what bell housing do I use?
Is it as simple as using the bell housing from my 3 rib box?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mats.

Easiest way is to swap bell housing, input shaft and starter with the 3 rib. The engine will work with the 2 litre bell and starter but the input shaft would require modification

So I don't have to swap flywheels or anything like that? Just take my old bell housing, starter and input shaft and swap them around.
