Rod Penrose Racing - Latest update

Hi guys

I thought that it was about time that I update you all on a few things.

Firstly, I have just finished unloading another container with a lot of new parts that I have added to my website (Rod Penrose Racing).

Some of the new arrivals are:

Transmission Parts (Super Diff, ring and pinions etc)
Engine Pulleys (alternator and crank)
Steel Wheels to suit early and late stud patterns
Workshop tools
CV Conversion kits

The above list are but a few of the new products...have a look at my website for a complete list. I have "flagged' any new products with a bright blue sticker in the top left hand corner of the product picture.

Blog:

I have also started a Blog that is also on my website with the aim of providing my customers with a range of valuable technical information and other articles that I am hoping will be of interest. For example, I have a great video of "How to Match Port intake manifolds". There is also some really interesting historical information relating to BRM and Sprinstar wheels.

Auctions:

As many of you know, I have a lot of items that I have collected over the years and I will be selling these via either a "no reserve" or "low reserve" series of auctions via the website. Have a look in the Blog section of the website for how this will operate.

Price Drops:

Believe it or not, there will be times when the price of a product may actually drop.....I will in turn pass on these reductions and have identified these products by attaching a big blue "Price Drop" sticker to the product picture.

Shopping Cart:

In order to process orders more efficiently, I will be enabling a modified version of a "Shopping Cart" early in April this year. I'll keep you posted.

Best Regards
Rod

thanks

Hi Guy's ,
Thanks for the support and your patience . With the response of the new website and the amount of interest it has created I try to do my best to help where I can . With trying to divide my time to dealing with the customers , constantly up-dating the website , ordering stock , sourcing new products , testing out the new products and everything else around here , sometimes it will take an extra day or so to ship out the orders .
The next container is almost ready to leave the US and with all of the new products - over 110 - added to the website within the last 10 days , I am now ensuring that I have very good stock levels of all products on hand all of the time .
A big thank you to everyone that has joined the newsletter so far and there is a little more exciting news on the horizion so I will up-date all subscribers in the next newsletter , Rod .

Latest up-date

Hi guy's

Just a quick up-date to let you all know that I have been flat out on initiating stage 2 of the Rod Penrose Racing website and have enabled the shopping cart!

You can now create a shopping list and send it to me so that I can confirm stock availability, suitability and shipping pricing.

The entire process is now a lot more streamlined and everyone who has used it is saying that it is working really well.

I am now able to process all of the orders faster and most are shipped either the same or next day.

Visit the website http://www.rodpenroseracing.com.au  and have a look....don’t forget to join my Newsletter.

My latest container has arrived and I have spent the last few days unloading it and adding the products to the website. The next container is due by the beginning of next week.

I have ordered over 200 of the steel wheels as they seem to be really popular in both 4 stud and wide 5, chrome and silver.

As you all know, this weekend is the VW Nationals at Fairfield Showground and it will be a busy weekend as I will be manning my trade display on Sunday with a range of the new products on display and a few motors that I have recently completed. Please call past and say hello.

I am also back in the US in 2 weeks time organising a lot of new and improved products such as some new exhaust systems, a new range of CNC ported heads and new hard to find parts that I have been able to source.

For you Kombi owners, I have the brand new forged Kombi dropped spindles on display and I will be fitting and testing these in the coming days to ensure the fitment is up to my standard.

Update November 2015

Hi guys,

Just another quick post to up-date you with what I have been up to over the last couple of months since my last post.

I've been busy updating the website ( http://www.rodpenroseracing.com.au ) yet again with lot of new features and products that I am sure will be of interest to you all.

As an example, I have added the following new products:

1. a full range of disc brake conversion kits in all stud patterns for every model. These are from AC Industries who were the original designer of these types of retrofitted kits and are still the market leader today.

2. I have also available, the entire range of stainless steel DOT compliant brake lines/hoses that are legal in NSW.

3. my new RPR range of exhaust systems in either raw or ceramic coated is now available. These have been manufactured especially for me in the USA and are absolutely fantastic quality and fitment. These are going out the door very fast!.

In addition, I also have the new Tril Mil (USA made) Ceramic Coated Sidewinder Systems in stock now and ready to go.

We have also added the entire range of "H Beam" conrods from CB Performance and SCAT to our existing AA Performance range in all lengths and journal sizes.

The RPR carby kits now includes a kit to suit all Type 3 vehicles and is supplied with high quality manifolds and linkage from CB Performance.

Also for Type 3's is the new EPC 34 Dual carby kit from EMPI.

You may also be interested to have a look at a few new videos of some of my recent engines builds on the dyno including a recent build for Christian who installed the 2054cc engine in his 59 Splitty

Also, don't forget to join my RPR Newsletter so that you can take advantage of the subscriber only discounts, specials and "give aways" especially with xmas just around the corner.

Just click the following link to join

Rod
