Fitting clutch cable
Hi all , just removed pedal cluster to paint floor pan and having a nightmare trying to get it back to together , is there a easy way to get to keep
clutch cable on ? It keeps falling off , also should there be a wing nut on other end?
Cheers Dave

You keep the cable on the pedal hook by not allowing the pedal to fall rearward, keeping it upright or fwd only it will stay on the hook.
Yes, a wing nut is usually fitted, although factory fittment was a pair of jamb nuts, 14 and 11mm spanner hex

My trick is to use a thick rubber band to keep the cable on the pedal hook. The pedal can flop around while you get the nuts/wingnut on down the back.
