Accelerator pedal

Hi all , just wondered if anyone could help me out , trying to install the accelerator pedal but it just doesn't look right , the piece that connects the pedal to the pedal cluster doesn't look right , also should the brake pedal return to position , the spring is ok but seems a bit stiff , anyone got any pics of there's ?
Cheers Dave

Can you take a photo of your pedal to pedal cluster connection that allegedly doesn't look right?

From your pictures it looks like the hook on the brake spring is missing or out of place and the accelerator pedal leans too far to the right or the connecting rod is mis shaped.
