Seatbelt stuck
Hi , just took out klippan seat belt out while I painted floor , come to put back and it's stuck , won't release ,does anyone know how to release
these ? Any help would be great

It needs to be at the correct angle or it will lock.
It needs to be at the loose or it will lock.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

You will need to have it on the correct angle. Then force just a little bit more belt to wind in, until the lock mechanism is released by the inwards
motion of the belt. Then it will come out again.

The easiest way is to mount the belt in the vice with the belt in a vertical position,as helbus says force the spool to take more belt and then
carefully pull the belt upwards then clip it with a peg so it doesn't retract again.
