switch compatability
wiper / indicator switch interchangable ?
Wondering if the switches for the wipers and indicators are interchangeable between models ie, super / square / bus etc, I'm doubting that they would
be but maybe I could get lucky
Comments ?
Thanks
Don

This is for your Lbug?
Type 3s of the same year use the same switches, where you have to watch is the 72-73 have a different steering column to 74 onwards, the wiper
switches are the same but the wire holders on them are different.
They can be swapped though.

Thanks Joel, yep it's for my L bug, '76, though it started life as a leftie, not sure if that would make a difference ?

Shouldnt matter, they would have kept the same steering column when it was converted.
The 74 and later style have a plastic textured casing where as the 72-73 are solid metal style.
