TotalVW is no longer

Was reading the UK VW newsgroup and came across the notice that TotalVW (The magazine) is no longer.
Apparently they are still putting out VW Camper & Commercial, but TotalVW has been finally put to bed. :(
Don't know about you guys, but I used to buy it whenever I saw it, wasn't bad, and gave a good RHD view of the world.

Hi

Thats a shame, it was a good read. I have heard the latest issue features Jak & CTs bugs.

Never bought it.....I thought it a stupid name for a magazine that did the opposite to it's name.....it did not show ALL VWs.
I prefer magazine that will not discriminate against a model puely because of the type of engine.....
Of course the name could also imply that the contents of the mag was of only VW.....

DOH!!!

I used to buy it whenever I saw it in the newsagency. Even asked the shop owner to keep a copy under the desk for me and I'd pick em up from time to time.

Only 1 or 2 more mags till the last one reaches Oz I suppose.

paul cave

Paul Cave was the original editor of TotalVW (I used to work with his wife when I lived back in England) and he really got the mag off the ground and up and running. He moved on to start up an engine building company last year and in my opinion the mag has gone downhill. The thing it had was that it featured real world VW's and not just show trailer-queens. Its a shame its gone, but I think the new production group didn't have the same drive as Paul.

Camper and Commercial on the other hand is a great read!
