electrical issues
Hi all, I went to pick up my bus today after getting some rust work done.
Driving away my van drove pretty bad and had no power and sounded crap, also
I had no blinkers, horn or gauges other than my speedo. as I was driving it back
my electrical check light came on.
I took it back to the workshop where they found a few blown fuses, which they replaced but nothing changed.
I think they may have sparked up the welder with my battery still attached? would this cause such problems?
Guy is a decent bloke but I want to be a bit wiser when I speak with him tomorrow.
Cheers in advance.

Yup, always disconnect the battery when welding as can cause problems with the electrics.
I'm not sure what problems as my old MOT guy told me this before I even started using a welder so never found out the hard way what damage can occur.
