72 low light engine
Hi Guys
I have a 72 low light with an EA81 conversion and I think the head gasket has blown. Any ideas where I can get a replacement gasket set or even a
replacement engine and an idea of cost for either. I am thinking of having an air-cooled motor fitted but can't find any anything on line where I can
buy engines.
If anyone can recommend any good mechanics on the sunshine coast Qld that would be a great help too.
Cheers
Steve

Thanks Bizaare
Stevef, how you doing with that engine? All the trouble someone went to in order to get the ea81 in there and you have a simple blown head gasket.
Fix the head gasket. If you want originality and the van is in good condition then I would seriously contact Stan Pobjoy in Sydney and outlay the
dollars for a good engine.
Knowing what I know now thats the better way to go. If you need to sell it down the track with the ve engine you'll get your money back
