Anyone seen a seat setup like this before?

I bought a car which has an odd setup attached to the seat I have never seen before, I have volmac recliners on other cars but never seen this before, looks well done too, what do you think?

.

so you pull the knob under the centre of the seat and it pulls the side pins in, the back of the seat folds down

Back in the 70's there were a few companies that did layback seat conversions. I had my Morris 1100 done so I could sleep in it (front bench seat). From what I remember this setup looks similar. Unfortunately, I have no idea who the company was that did the conversion.
