Getting the Type 3 Bagged. Exhaust too low!

hey all!

Not sure what the previous owners bolted on, but its ugly and is lower then the bottom of the vehicle/engine. Would a tuck away exhaust work with bags and be high enough to not interfere?

Thanks all!

Vintage speed exhaust systems sit nicely on type 3's
Or the standard og ones tuck up and sit good.might start heating up your bag with the muffler/exhaust system running close near it.
Just at a guess without seeing a pic.

Na it hangs too low. Tuck away exhausts by sellers quote, generally hang down 2" from the engine casing. Still will hit when the car drops. Ive been taking a look into it and sidewinder exhausts seem to be ok. Not sure though. Ill call a few VW mobs around tomorrow.

What u have there is a type 4 exhaust with the type 3 conversion pipe , these hang lower that Og type 3 exhausts, Vintage seed option is a great idea, sound and perform great.

Thanks! Do you know if all vintage speed exhausts dont hang down lower than the engine case? ive seen a few youtube clips on them and they seem to be perfect for what i need. Just wondering if you knew. If not i can email or call.
