WTD: Diff Gearset for L bug
Hi all.
I need a new diff gearset for my L Bug gearbox.
I would like to change the 3.875:1 ratio that's in there now.
My preference is for 4.375:1 diff gears if I someone has a crack free set available. I would consider 4.125:1 however, because it's still going to
work better than 3.875:1.
The gearbox is a Single Side Plate L Bug box, and if it matters it has a Weddle Superdiff with 10th spider gears and 15th side gears, and the usual
late big mainshaft stuff.
Anyone have something suitable?
Anyone have a link to buy a new part (they are different to the DSP and Swing sets).
Calling Mr Butler to the batphone if he has any under the bench?

Hi Dave, just got back from hols, but no, no 4.375's left.
The new ones use a keyed 4th gear so wont suit your trans' 4th gear.
I am sure I can find you a 4.125, but your trans builder probably has dozens.
