[FS - NSW] 1968 Type 3 Squareback SOLD

Up for sale is my 1968 VW Type 3 Squareback/Variant 'N' series.
Car has a stock 1600 twin port engine with dual 34mm ICT carbs and hex linkage, brand new fuel pump (27th/9), brand new points and condenser (27th/9),
bosch 009 distributor, after market extractors with stainless muffler tip exiting in the factory location, brand new clutch (27th/9), fresh tappet
adjustment and new rocker cover gaskets (27th/9), all in good working order. Currently rolling on near new yokohama 165R15 tyres and Monroe GT shocks.
Car has a mint zero rust floor pan (refer last pic of under battery tray). All seats had been retrimmed not long before i bought the car and they
still look great.
Vehicle had a mini-resto about 6 years ago, it received: 2 new guards, outer respray in factory colour, minor rust was repaired behind RH rear
guard (car now rust free), new seals (door, boot, bonnet, reflector housings, tail light housings, indicator housings, fuel filler, spare wheel tub),
new lenses (clear front turn signals and US spec Hella tail lights), reconditioned shaved/smoothed dash pad, new interior cards, new
'salt'n'pepper' carpet kit, empi RHD T-bar shifter with reverse lock out, 72 model glove box tub with lever release for bonnet plus more i have
probably forgotten. Most of these parts were sourced from ISP west in America or Classic and Vintage VeeDub. Vehicle has some bits like - TS reflector
housings, chrome front turn signal bases, clock and over riders etc that are not fitted to N models from factory but sourced from other Type 3's.
Has 3 venetian blinds fitted in the rear also.
Car goes annually to Sydney, Gosford and the south coast for car shows and has never missed a beat.
Vehicle currently registered in ACT (about 3 months remain).
I have had this car for the last 12 odd years, it used to be my daily driver. I purchased it from its 2nd owner who was also in Canberra. I am pretty
attached to the car but i have put a deposit on my next VW project/money pit so this needs to find a new home. No swaps
