Notchback body weight.

Hi, was wondering what the weight of the upper body of an early notchback is minus guards, doors and windows? Does the body need to be re-enforced when removing?

Depending on how rusty the body it, it probably should be re-enforced.
On my Beetle, the lower A pillar and the heater channels were quite rusty, so i re-enforced it like so.
