Retro Sound Units

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has installed a Retro-Sound unit in their kombi?

http://www.retrosoundusa.com.au/index.php?l=product_detail&p=299

http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=C45%2D157%2D200

Any advice would be great.
Cheers Matty

Check these two companies out

Classic Car Stereos

Tadpole Radios

Probably more of them but I just used Goggle UK and they were in the first page of results. :)

No problems with my Retrosound. Love it. In a Beetle though. Bought through Mustangs of Melbourne so if there were any problems I didn't need to ship it back to the USA. Been fine for about a year

Oh for an old Clarion push button with big clunking transistors that will only last 50 years.

Nah, you want one with valves in the back of them. Even better than transistors :)

I bought mine from Mustangs too - but the Retrosound fascia didn't fit. I have a vintage VW Beetle 1960s.

It took me a couple of hours to file it down and fit it - even then it was a squeeze.

A lot of radio stations have an app.

Use your iPhone and a good Bluetooth Speaker.

You can get bluetooth connection points these days that you can then hook up to an amp for the speakers but you want one that allows you to still use the phone to forward through tracks if you don't want the modern switchgear on display.
