Hey All!
Hey everyone!!!
I'm new on the block so hi
Long story short I bought my VW in NSW with no roof and drove it to QLD because when I bought the bug it was during the floods in NSW last year and I
couldn't drive home(Melbourne) with out a roof. Had it repaired on the Gold Coast and then caught a plane back up with a few mate when it was
finished and then did the road trip back to Melb with a roof haha.
Had such a great time on the drive. Was a great way to really first drive the bug 
Enough about me!
I was sent to this forum by a friend in to find a mechanic for Beetles in Melbourne.
I have attached some photos of ride, throw up some of yours if you want!
Also are there any cruises that happen in Melb?

Did yours have a Yellow Sunbug Conversions sticker under the Bonnet near the Build tag?

Nice project you have there, good rescue
I had to buy a whole new roof and also pay for the mod plates for the sedan to convertible conversion. The bug was still registered as a sedan  . I did all that in QLD as it works out the prices are cheaper than if I was to
do all that in VIC.
Trying to find a solid mechanic down here in Melbourne. I'm getting the VW Magazine tomorrow and going to go through the specialists section and with
some luck should be sorted

We got a roof but will get a new one made up once its done. Who did you get to do the work in qld. Looks good. Plan for ours is a similar colour to
share on it and make it semi Baja.
