If they've got him driving a bug on the show, he must have either had one as his first car or it was a family car when he grew up.
The one they've used is a '67 model that belongs to a great bloke by the name of Paul who lives on the Gold Coast.




Call stockers boring if you want, but VW sure sold a lot of them that way

Think it was his fathers/family car - watched it and enjoyed his story ..... not to mention him driving the beetle = find it don't grind it :crazy:

saw it today on iView. Not his car, though his Dad did own one. It seems he can barely drive it. Nice car with lots of accessories. QLD fella on the facebook page has fessed up as the owner. :)

Kerry said He had not driven a manual for ?? years [maybe 20] so He either forgot about the clutch pedal, or where the gears were or how to move the gearlever...
I've never seen so many accessories...
there was even a luggage rack in the dicky seat with a suitcase in it...

Hopefully others will be able to drive a manual car.... lol
