Floor pan help

Hi there just wondering if someone could give me some information about floor pans.

I have a manual 1965 squareback and the floor pan is rotten.

Iv just got hold of a manual 72-73 floor pan that's in real good condition. I know the seat runners are different but not sure about the shape ect.

Will this floor pan go straight under the body of my 65 squareback ????

I know that Automatic floor pans are different to manuals but not sure about early to late floor pans if there different or not.

Thanks Curtis.

It should fit... I have a '69 auto notch pan under my '64 razor that was previously manual.... I believe The engine mounting is the difference between early & late fit up , also, early are swing arm & late are IRS .....but it can be done,

Will this make it a 72 / 73 vehicle and then need to comply with related ADR requirements. Newt

yes it will fit but lot of work

may be better to remove the good pan halfs and weld to your old chassis your can remove the old seat runners and weld to the late pan

no matter what its BODY off to do the repairs
