Don't know how many Poms are on here but I have just discovered that Reece Engineering in the UK are going to re-release their carburettors sometime
this year.

They were really good, I knew people said they were so much better than Webbers but can't comment myself having only using these after trials with
joke carbs like Nikkis! They were expensive though.

I noticed one of those posts said that a single would be no good for a 1600. I picked up mine directly out of the hands of Leonard Reece (the guy who
started the company) who at the time was probably in his late 70s and he told me that a single was best for street use and the odd race but for
racing and continual 100mph (his words) then you'd need twins! I had more money than sense those days and had bought twins and at that time I think
the engine was a 1600.

these were around when poms were into chrome auto club badges and fuel economy because they paid so much for fuel, I'm sure a good Webber or Delortto
setup would be as good
