Karmann Ghia floorpan

Hi All,
I'm after a bit of info on the differences between a Karmann pan and a beetle pan. Are most of the mehanicals/suspension interchangeable?
Are the floorpan halves easy to get?
Thanks for any suggestions and info.

Everything will transfer over easily enough. Try Jerry Heldt in WA for your floor plans.

Hi Greg

Essentially the Beetle and Ghia running gear is identical except for the pan halves - the Ghia being wider.

Mick Motors and Classic Veedub sell exactly the same ones as Karmann Ghias in WA (hate to know what freight would be)

I know George doesn't have a good reputation on this site but I've never had a problem $100 cheaper per half. Please I not looking at opening the whole Classic Veedub thread again:no:

Thanks Guys, if pan halves are available from mick motors I could do pick up from there to save freight.
Cheers
